Pharmacy Stocktaking procedure

Dispensary:

Dispensary items are electronically scanned Providing a Line by Line report in excel format showing:

Barcode- Description – Strength – Packsize – Cost – Quantity - Total Cost and Category.

Our database provides Numark Numeric Prices for Generic. Chemist & Druggist Prices for Branded Ethical.

OTC:

A retail value of each category is counted and input onto a spread sheet where the appropriate rate of VAT and the relevant margin is deducted to give the net cost of each category.

A Valuation Report is provided along with the Line Report showing all Dispensary Categories along with Adjustments.

All OTC Categories are shown giving both retail and cost values.
